Fern

Age: 10 months old
Gender: Female
Breed: Domestic Medium Hair
Color: Tabby
Purr-sonality: Gentle, shy, loving Fern is barely more than a kitten herself. She came from a hoarding situation pregnant, and delivered 5 kittens, of which only two survived. Needs a quiet home. She is a beautiful Torbie fluffy girl. She has been in a foster home with older school aged children, a sweet cat-loving lab, and another cat. Fern loves to loved on but she is fearful of strange noises and will hide under the bed until she feels safe to come out again. This will gradually diminish as she settles in to a home and becomes familiar with the noises. Fern enjoys being petted, sitting on laps, getting her pretty reddish tinged fur brushed, and at times, playing.

Sunshine

Age: 2 years old
Gender: Female
Breed: Domestic Long Hair
Color: Calico
Purr-sonality: The beautiful pregnant girl was dumped on the street and left behind by people who moved. She delivered four healthy, beautiful, fluffster kittens who are also available to be preadopted. Sunshine lives up to her name. She is happy, loving, and a good mom to her kittens. She is ready to be spayed and find her self a fur-ever home. Sunshine deserves a real, true, loving home, not to be dumped on the street like abandoned furniture. Her perfect match is any single, couple, or family with school aged children who want to be be smothered with love.

"Sunshine" Litter

Marmalade

Biscuit

Donut

Bagel

Age: 2 months old
Gender: 2 Males, 2 Females
Breed: Domestic Medium Hair
Color: Variety
Purr-sonality: These kittens are absolutely precious and well socialized. They are super sweet and friendly.
Marmalade is the adventurer of the litter. She figures out everything first and is the leader of the pack. She is also a love bug who ADORES to have her belly rubbed.
Biscuit has an adorable bobtail. He loves to be loved on too. He is a licker, and affectionately cleans your hand.
Donut is the petite one of the litter. She loves to be held and has the loudest purr. Donut is a snuggler and her happy place is in your arms or snuggled up next to you. Just like her momma, Sunshine, Donut lives to be loved on.
Bagel, also known to his foster family as Bagel Bits, this little cutie is the big guy of the litter. He loves to chase toys and is often the last one playing after his littermates have tuckered out. He is affectionate and LOVES his tummy rubbed.

Dixie

Age: 10 months old
Gender: Female
Breed: Domestic Long Hair
Color: Tabby
Purr-sonality: Dixie is a gorgeous long haired Torbie teen mom. She has beautiful red tones throughout her brown tabby markings. This little lover just wants attention and pets always. Such a loving mama cat she watches over dutifully and lovingly. She loves her wet food, begging every morning for more. She likes to sit next to you, and chirp for more head scratches. Seeming sensitive of her back end she loves cheek scratches the most. Currently very protective of kittens so has been aggressive towards other cats. She may or may not get along with other cats once she is independent from her kittens. Need a sweet and loving girl - Dixie is just right.
Dixie was rescued from an area with lots of abandoned cats being fed by some trailer park residents. Now that she has come inside and experienced the indoor home life, she never wants to go outdoors again.

Cerise

Age: 2 months old
Gender: Female
Breed: Domestic Medium Hair
Color: Calico
Purr-sonality: First up to say hello and greet you. This little sweetheart has the cutest little voice. Loves to follow me around and play with my pant legs. This little darling just wants to be in the action, either under your toes or on your lap watching shows with you. Cute, cute, cute.

Yarrow

Age: 2 months old
Gender: Male
Breed: Domestic Long Hair
Color: Tabby and White
Purr-sonality: A playful boy that steals your heart the moment he looks at you. He enjoys playing with his brother Goldenrod and is a curious one. He is a snuggler too who likes to climb up on your lap and just roll around in your arms while you pet his belly and get showered in kisses
He will be a large boy, but all the more to love.

Rip

Age: 2 months old
Gender: Male
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Color: Tabby and White
Purr-sonality: Rip was wandering through a rural area - tiny, emaciated, dirty, and scared. He showed up on a porch, screaming for help. We were contacted and took him in as a 3-4 week old kitten. Because he was undernourished he was given supplemental bottle feeding. Currently he is very attached to his bottle and holds it with his own paws. Rip loves his food and is a big eater, trying to catch up to he age peers in weight. He is gaining weight but will not be neutered until 6/22, when we feel he should be at weight for anesthesia. Rip was kind of traumatized by his experiences and is very clingy to his foster family. He needs a home where he can receive a LOT of positive attention. Rip loves to be held, carried, and to sleep right next to people. He gets along with the other cats and dog in the foster home, but he craves human contact. Rip would be ideal for a single, couple or a family with lots of cat-loving school-aged kids. He is very needy for human contact.

Adoption Pending Elsa

Age: 1 year old
Gender: Female
Breed: Norwegian Forrest Cat
Color: White and Tabby
Purr-sonality: Elsa and her sister came to us, from a TNR event, as a 4 month old kitten. She was very shy and fearful but has come a long way. Her sister was recently adopted and Elsa is ready to find a loving home as well. She will need an experienced and patient adopter who understands it will take time for her to bond to a new person. She is very comfortable in her current foster home. Elsa gets along with other cats well, especially males. She likes pets, rubbing around people's legs, playing in cat trees, and window-gazing from a warm kitty bed. She has the ability to bond to people as shown by her bond with her foster mom. She is ready to find a purr-manent fur-ever home, hopefully with a cat-friendly big bro kitty to show her the ropes

Billy

Age: 8months old
Gender: Male
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Color: Black
Purr-sonality: Billy is playful and adventurous. He likes to sit and look out the window. Billy likes mouse toys and hanging toys. He is friendly with an 11 yr old cat and is dog curious. Sociable, playful, cuddly, and good with kids, cat, dogs. Purr-fect for any kind of family.

Clooney

Age: 1 year old
Gender: Female
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Color: Tuxedo
Purr-sonality: Sweet little Clooney is a slim teen kitten just a little over a year old. She came from a trailer park where someone had abandoned her. At first she was very scared, and is still a little shy, but she loves who she loves. Once she knows someone is going to be a friend to her she will come running to you when she hears her name. She loves to be petted and will arch her back into your hand, purring away. Her marking are cute and her eyes are ever-so-slightly crossed, giving her an earnest charm.

Clooney would love to be the one and only in someone's life. She is a good companion to curl up with on a rainy night or watch the sunrise with while drinking morning coffee. We suspect she would make an ideal friend for a cat-loving pre-teen, a single, or a couple. Not ideal for young, energetic kids.

Orlando (WORKING/FARM/BARN CAT)

Age: 3 year old
Gender: Male
Breed: Domestic Medium Hair
Color: White & Tabby
Purr-sonality: WORKING CAT
Orlando is a sibling of Astra. Orlando is much further along the feral scale than Astra, although he does "chat" with his feeder at feeding time. Otherwise he avoids all human contact and hisses if someone comes too close. He is eager to escape the confines of the rescue and get outside. He is also an excellent hunter and climber. Orlando is utterly gorgeous with long fur and an incredibly bushy tail of gray and white - but - he is unable to ever be a pet and needs his freedom to live his life the way he was born - free. He and Astra could be adopted together. Although they are not really friends, they have been together since birth and tolerate each other.

Astra (WORKING/FARM/BARN CAT)

Age: 2 years old
Gender: Female
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Color: White
Purr-sonality: Astra is the mother of Izzy. She was rescued near starvation from an abandoned home with approximately 20 other cats. Astra was pregnant at the time and ended up giving birth to another litter of kittens soon after rescue. Initially fearful and with no idea of what it was like to be a cozy secure housecat, Astra has slowly warmed up and turned into a cautious but nice kitty. She loves hanging out in the kitchen "helping" load the dishwasher and supervising the meal prep. Her nickname is "Beepers" because of her cute little noises. Like her daughter Izzy she does not meow. She loves spending time with her foster family who are all adults. She has no experience with children. There are other cats in the home and she has also slowly grown to be ok with them. However, Astra would adore being the one and only cat in someone's life. She is able to keep herself amused while the adults are working and enjoy time with them when they are home. She needs someone patient who will let her warm up slowly to her adopters. Once she does she will continue to bloom. She has no experience with dogs.
