Jollie

Coffeecake

Age: Jollie is 9 months. Coffeecake is 2 months
Gender: Females
Breed: Domestic Short Hair and Miniature Pinscher
Color: Black and White. Black and Tan
Purr-sonality: So, one may ask, how did a cat rescue end up with a puppy? By a strange twist of fate which has worked out in more ways than imagined. Coffeecake's mom was hit and killed by a car. No dog rescue locally would take the bottle baby puppy, so our foster home of intrepid bottle baby kitten experts agreed to take her on, hoping a dog rescue would step up later. Our plan was to keep her alive and figure out transfer later. Fate had something different in mind. One of our teen-aged foster kittens still in this foster home, Jollie, decided Coffeecake was her baby. She grooms her, sleeps with her, moves her, and cares for her like she was her own. The pup thinks Jollie is her mom and is deeply bonded to her. They should not ever be separated, so we will be pre-adopting these two as a bonded pair. If you have ever wanted to raise a puppy and kitten together in your home, this is the perfect arrangement. They already love each other.

Jollie is also one of the Pirate litter. Originally named Jolly Roger when she was very young, she turned out to be a girl! Jollie was abandoned as a very young kitten into a forested area behind a housing development. She was very frightened and sometimes new sounds still spook her a little. Jollie is an affectionate and playful little girl who especially loves to curl up on the foster grandma's bed.

Simon

Theo

Age: 2 years old
Gender: 2 Males
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Color: Orange and Black
Purr-sonality:
THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING
Thank you so much for helping me and these beautiful cats. Here is their story and pictures.
These cats had a home in Eureka and were abandoned to live in an open parking garage at an apartment complex with their two brothers and sister. They have been neutered and vaccinated against rabies and the first of the feline respiratory vaccine along with getting microchipped. They are about 2 years old, very friendly, very social and very sweet. They would be very happy as indoor outdoor cats and would get along very well with other cats but I am not too sure about dogs as I have not seen them interact with dogs. I think they would be good with children because they are gentle. They are small cats, only 10 pounds. They love watching the mice on cat TV on YouTube, They love watching the birds at the bird feeder on my windows and they love playing. I have named them Simon and Theo but they do not come to those names so anyone can rename them. Simon is the orange one and Theo is the black one. These are very sweet, very friendly, although a bit shy at first, cats. Contact Julie at (707) 816-9048 for details.

Peachie

Age: 1 ½ year old
Gender: Female
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Color: Tabby
Purr-sonality: Peachie is a young Torbie cat who recently lost her cat mom unexpectedly. Since we had helped get her and her kittens spayed/neutered last summer, the family approached us to see if we could find her a new home. Peachie lived with a small dog and another cat in an RV, so she is able to get along with other animals in a small space. Peachie's cat mom used both a wheelchair and walker so she is familiar with such equipment. She had outdoor access under direct supervision. Peachie is a nice cat who enjoys both having attention and being independent. She would make a good pet for a home where family members are at work or school during the day.

Rolypoly

ADOPTED
Cricket

Age: 3 months old
Gender: 4 Females
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Color: Tabby and Black
Purr-sonality:
Cute little Ladybug lives up to her name - she likes to play in houseplants. She also loves her brother Mantis and they are always together exploring, playing, sleeping, and grooming each other. She is so cute. Like her brother she loves to play in water, especially a dripping faucet.
Aw, Beetle, who always has the deer-in-the-headlights look for her pictures. She is actually very cute but always on the move, so very hard to capture in a nice photo. Beetle is a girl who just wants to have fun. She enjoys playing with toys, people, and other kittens. If you are looking for an energetic kitty, Beetle is the one!
.Who can resist a little roly poly kitten, a traditional tabby and white sweetheart, just made for purring up a storm? This little gal is super sweet and playful. She is definitely roly poly as she loves her food, her littermates, and people.

Meet our happy little chirper, Cricket. She is a jolly playful kitten who loves cuddles, treats, playing hide and pounce, grooming her pals, and giving kisses. She also likes playing in water and planters.

Jollie

Age: 4 months old
Gender: Male
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Color: Tuxedo
Purr-sonality: Jollie is also one of the Pirate litter. Originally named Jolly Roger when she was very young, she turned out to be a girl! Jollie was abandoned as a very young kitten into a forested area behind a housing development. She was very frightened and sometimes new sounds still spook her a little. Jollie is an affectionate and playful little girl who especially loves to curl up on the foster grandma's bed

ADOPTED
Hook

Age: 4 months old
Gender: Male
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Color: Black with White
Purr-sonality: Hook is one of the Pirate litter. He came from a location known for cat dumping, near a forest slough behind a neighborhood. Hook was very fearful at first. He has mellowed into a charmer who likes to hang out with younger kittens and a 4 year old boy with special needs. He just seems to know who needs him and goes there. He is in a foster home with multiple cats and a nanny dog, so he is comfortable with cat-friendly animals

Adlai

Age: 2 years old
Gender: Male
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Color: Tuxedo
Purr-sonality: This dapper gentleman in his tux and domino is the intrepid and smart Adlai, named after a former Vice President of the USA. Adlai is pretty laid back and gets along with other cats, but is living in a foster home with MANY other cats and would like to be the one and only or have one special kitty pal. He is often overwhelmed by, in his opinion, too much hubbub. Adlai would like some down time. He is really a sweetheart with people. Addy has a cute voice when he talks...and he is very chatty. He carries on a conversation complete with turn-taking. So cute! Adlai makes quivering air biscuits when he is happy to see you and is a total attention hog. A nice purr when petted. Loves to follow to his wet food breakfast “spot”. Loves cats trees. Doesn’t love this many cats. Or the dog. But is ok, just not a fan. The Orphanage would be a lot on any former house cat. But wow does he LOVE watching birds from the windows. He goes crazy! Easily one of the top ten most loving cats we have had pass through the rescue. He is just such a charmer.

Moneypenny

James

Age: 4 months old
Gender: Male & Female
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Color: Tuxedo
Purr-sonality: Moneypenny and her brother, James (James Bond), are just the cutest pair of kittens. They are extremely bonded and must be adopted together. Moneypenny wears a gray tuxedo with white gloves and boots and is very pretty. She adores James and is always at his side, ready for whatever adventure is lurking around the corner. Moneypenny is also quite a kisser and loves to be cuddled.

Elsa

Age: 1 year old
Gender: Female
Breed: Norwegian Forrest Cat
Color: White and Tabby
Purr-sonality: Elsa and her sister came to us, from a TNR event, as a 4 month old kitten. She was very shy and fearful but has come a long way. Her sister was recently adopted and Elsa is ready to find a loving home as well. She will need an experienced and patient adopter who understands it will take time for her to bond to a new person. She is very comfortable in her current foster home. Elsa gets along with other cats well, especially males. She likes pets, rubbing around people's legs, playing in cat trees, and window-gazing from a warm kitty bed. She has the ability to bond to people as shown by her bond with her foster mom. She is ready to find a purr-manent fur-ever home, hopefully with a cat-friendly big bro kitty to show her the ropes

Clooney

Age: 1 year old
Gender: Female
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Color: Tuxedo
Purr-sonality: Sweet little Clooney is a slim teen kitten just a little over a year old. She came from a trailer park where someone had abandoned her. At first she was very scared, and is still a little shy, but she loves who she loves. Once she knows someone is going to be a friend to her she will come running to you when she hears her name. She loves to be petted and will arch her back into your hand, purring away. Her marking are cute and her eyes are ever-so-slightly crossed, giving her an earnest charm.

Clooney would love to be the one and only in someone's life. She is a good companion to curl up with on a rainy night or watch the sunrise with while drinking morning coffee. We suspect she would make an ideal friend for a cat-loving pre-teen, a single, or a couple. Not ideal for young, energetic kids.

Astra

Age: 2 years old
Gender: Female
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Color: White
Purr-sonality: Astra is the mother of Izzy. She was rescued near starvation from an abandoned home with approximately 20 other cats. Astra was pregnant at the time and ended up giving birth to another litter of kittens soon after rescue. Initially fearful and with no idea of what it was like to be a cozy secure housecat, Astra has slowly warmed up and turned into a cautious but nice kitty. She loves hanging out in the kitchen "helping" load the dishwasher and supervising the meal prep. Her nickname is "Beepers" because of her cute little noises. Like her daughter Izzy she does not meow. She loves spending time with her foster family who are all adults. She has no experience with children. There are other cats in the home and she has also slowly grown to be ok with them. However, Astra would adore being the one and only cat in someone's life. She is able to keep herself amused while the adults are working and enjoy time with them when they are home. She needs someone patient who will let her warm up slowly to her adopters. Once she does she will continue to bloom. She has no experience with dogs.
